I enrolled my 9-year-old son in the Sports and Arts Hockey program in Brooklyn, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The instructors, especially Coach Sam, were attentive and engaged, ensuring that each child got feedback during drills. My son loved building teamwork skills while practicing on the ice. He even made a friend, which was a bonus! However, the pickup process can be a bit chaotic, with long lines forming as parents arrive. I also noticed that the program could become crowded at times, which might overwhelm some kids. That said, my son is quite active and thrived in this environment. The price felt reasonable for the weekly sessions, considering the skill development he’s gaining. I would recommend this program, but just be prepared for the pickup challenge.
