Art Strong NYC — Visual Arts

My son, who is 6 and quite creative, has been attending Art Strong NYC in Brooklyn for a few weeks now. The program offers a great environment for kids to explore various art forms, and he's already built a colorful collage and painted on canvas. The instructor, Mia, is truly engaging and knows how to encourage the kids without overwhelming them. One small annoyance was the long lines during drop-off, especially on the first day. I would recommend arriving a bit early to avoid the rush. Overall, the small group size really allows for more personalized attention, which I've noticed has helped my son come out of his shell a bit. He’s made a couple of friends and looks forward to every session. We're happy with our decision and appreciate the creative outlet this program provides.

However, I did find the $250 per month fee a bit steep, especially since there are some additional costs for materials that weren’t fully detailed upfront. Additionally, the pickup process can feel a bit chaotic at times, but overall, Jake is excited to go each week. It’s a great fit for my little artist who loves being creative and expresses himself through art.
