We enrolled our 9-year-old in the My Coding Place Science program in Austin, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The instructor, Sarah, was engaging and kept the kids excited about the various experiments. My child particularly enjoyed building a simple volcano and learning about chemical reactions. The small group size fostered interaction, and he even made a new friend, which was a bonus. However, drop-off was a bit chaotic on the first day, with long lines forming as parents waited to hand off their kids. It would be great if they could streamline that process. The program runs weekly, and for the $250 price, we feel it offers good value for hands-on science activities. I would recommend it, especially for active kids looking to explore science in a fun way.
