We recently enrolled our 9-year-old son in the Powerleague Amsterdam soccer program, and overall, it was a solid experience. The coaches, especially a guy named Marco, were very engaged and made sure each child got enough attention during drills. The outdoor pitches were well-maintained, which was great for the kids to play on. My son was able to practice his skills and even made a friend who lives nearby, which was a pleasant bonus. One minor annoyance was the long lines during check-in; it felt a bit chaotic, especially on the first day. We arrived with enough time, but it seemed like they were short-staffed that week. Despite that, my son really loved his time on the field and has been practicing his dribbling at home. I would recommend this program for active kids who enjoy soccer, but just be prepared for a bit of a wait at the start.
