creative

My 9-year-old son recently attended the Topskills Robotics workshop in Amsterdam, and he had a great time working on his robot design. The instructor, Sam, was not only knowledgeable but also really engaged the kids with hands-on challenges. They built small robots that moved based on simple coding, which allowed them to experiment creatively while learning about technology. I appreciated the small group size; it made it easier for each child to receive personalized attention. However, there was a bit of a hassle at pickup time. We had to wait in a long line that made it a bit chaotic as parents were trying to check in and out their kids. It would be helpful if they organized that better. Overall, I would recommend this workshop to parents looking for a fun and educational experience for their creatively inclined kids.

shy

My son attended the Topskills Robotics workshop in Amsterdam last week, and overall, it was a good experience. He is quite shy, so I was a bit concerned about how he would adjust, but the instructor, Lisa, was very engaging and made him feel welcomed. They worked on building a small robot using various sensor kits and even programmed it to respond to sound. He really enjoyed the hands-on projects and was excited to show me what he created. However, I did find the drop-off process a bit chaotic, with too many parents and kids all trying to get in at the same time. It would help to have a more organized system in place. Still, I think the workshop is a great way for kids aged 8-10 to explore robotics. I would recommend it, especially for those who thrive in small group settings.
