New King — Languages

We recently enrolled our 6-year-old in the New King — Languages program in Amsterdam, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The weekly Mandarin language classes are engaging, led by an enthusiastic instructor named Mei, who seems to connect well with the kids. My son really enjoyed the creative projects, especially building a mini Chinese market out of cardboard, which sparked his interest in learning about the culture behind the language. Pickup was smooth, and the staff were friendly, making it easy to transition from class to home. However, we did encounter long lines during drop-off, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, I would recommend this program, especially for kids who may be a bit shy and need a supportive environment to explore new languages.

However, we did experience long lines during pickup, which was a bit frustrating after class. The restaurant's relaxed atmosphere kept the kids calm, but it would have been better if there were more staff managing the flow at that time. Despite the minor annoyance, my daughter made a friend and has shown more interest in learning about languages at home since attending. I would recommend this program, especially for children who are shy and might benefit from the supportive environment.
