We enrolled our 9-year-old in the NewTechKids Entrepreneurship program in Amsterdam, and overall, it was a solid experience. My child learned how to develop a business idea and even created a simple product pitch. Instructor Emma was great at guiding the kids through brainstorming and project development, which kept them engaged throughout the weekly sessions. The small group size allowed for plenty of individual attention, which was perfect for our shy child. However, the drop-off process was a bit chaotic with so many parents arriving at once, which made it stressful at times to get our child settled in. Despite this, my child came away feeling more confident about their ideas and even made a new friend in the process. I'd recommend it with the caveat that parents should arrive a bit earlier for drop-off.

My son, aged 9, recently attended the NewTechKids Entrepreneurship program in Amsterdam, and overall, we had a solid experience. The program runs weekly, and he loved the creative projects, especially designing a mock business plan and pitching it to the group. His instructor, Maria, was very engaging and encouraged the kids to think outside the box, which was fantastic to see. However, there were a few downsides. Each session started a bit late because of the long pickup lines, which can be frustrating amidst a busy schedule. Also, while the small group size allowed for personalized attention, I would have liked to see more outdoor time integrated into the activities. Despite these minor annoyances, my son made a couple of friends and is excited to go back next week, which speaks volumes about the program's environment. I would recommend this for other parents looking to spark their children's entrepreneurial spirit, just be prepared for some waiting at pickup.
