We started attending the WOW Family Center's coding program in Amsterdam a few weeks ago, and my 9-year-old son has really enjoyed it. Each session runs for about two hours, and he has already built a small video game. The instructor, Mia, is very engaging and encourages the kids to think critically about their projects. I also appreciated the supportive environment that allowed my son to express his ideas freely. However, the first day had quite a long line for check-in, which was a bit frustrating. It seemed to get better after that, but it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, I think the program is a solid choice for parents looking to introduce their kids to coding. It’s a fun way for families to bond over technology, and I would recommend it with the caveat that you might need to be patient with the initial logistics.
