My son attended the Topskills Coding workshop in Amsterdam last week, and overall, we had a good experience. The instructor, Jenna, was very engaging, which kept my son focused throughout the class. They built a simple game together, which he was really proud of. The small group size allowed for more personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, I noticed they spent quite a bit of time in front of screens, which I'm not a huge fan of, especially for younger kids. The pickup process was a bit crowded, making it hard to find my son at the end, but once I got the hang of it, it was manageable. If your child is interested in coding and can handle a little screen time, I think this workshop could be a great fit.

My son, aged 12, attended the coding workshop at Topskills in Amsterdam for several weeks. The instructor, Jeroen, was very engaged and helped the kids work through real coding projects, like building a simple game. My son loved the hands-on approach and the small group size made it easier for him to ask questions and get personalized help. However, I did notice that they spent quite a bit of time in front of screens, which I found a bit concerning. While he was focused and enjoying himself, I would have liked more balance with activities away from screens. Pickup was smooth, and the atmosphere felt inclusive, allowing my son to make a couple of friends by the end of the program. Overall, the experience was solid, and I would recommend it to parents looking for a creative outlet for their kids interested in coding.
