My 12-year-old daughter has been attending the NewTechKids coding program in Amsterdam for the past few weeks, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The instructors, particularly a guy named Mark, seem genuinely passionate about teaching coding and ensuring that each child feels included. My daughter built her first simple game using Scratch, and she absolutely loved the creative project component. The small group size allowed for personalized attention, which I really appreciated. However, the pickup process can be a bit chaotic, especially with long lines forming as parents wait. It would be nice if they could streamline that a bit. Nevertheless, my daughter has made a new friend in the class, which has made her even more excited to return each week. If you’re considering this program, just be prepared for a slight wait at the end. We’ll definitely continue attending!
